ResizeKB

About ResizeKB

Most online forms are fussy about photos. One portal wants a file under 50KB, another wants exactly 200×230 pixels, and a third rejects anything that isn’t a JPG. Fixing that usually means installing software or uploading a personal photo to a website you don’t know.

ResizeKB exists to make that quick. Pick a size, choose your photo, and download a file that fits. The work happens inside your browser, so your photo never leaves your device and we never see it.

Who builds it

ResizeKB is built and maintained by Shivam, a developer based in Jaipur, India. I started it after seeing how often students and job applicants get stuck on a simple upload step, and I add new sizes as people ask for them.

How the tools work

Each tool draws your image onto a canvas, crops it to the required shape when a fixed size is needed, and then searches for the highest JPG quality that still fits under the size limit. If quality alone is not enough, it reduces the dimensions step by step.

Always compare the result with the rules on your own form. Requirements change between portals and between years.
